A not too serious, happy-ending type of story, June 10, 2005
"The Risk is Yours" is a comedy about two men in prison. One is an actor and the other is a director. Not being your typical prisoners, they are in for some trouble with the other inmates, but cleverly use their wits to ease their situation. Their antics with the other prisoners, guards, and the warden are entertaining and funny.
By no means is this a film about tough prison life, but instead one where the events are often absurd. The story behind the story is a romance, as the actor fell in love with a woman before he went to prison and the film is really about their romance. Therefore, it may be considered a good one to watch with your date. If you are looking for a not too serious, happy-ending type of story, then "The Risk is Yours" might be the comedy for you. |
